Scanning Tips

When people need an office machine we tend to think that they have aggressive print and cop needs. However, or some people scanning is by far the function they will use the most. If you are someone who scans a lot then it’s just as important that you get the right machine as someone who prints thousands of prints a day. Follow these scanning tips to get the most from your machine.

  1. Get the right office machine. The first thing you need to do is find the machine that works for your needs. Regular desktop scanners can do about 10 scans per minute. A powerful office machine can do over 1000 scans an hour. Make sure you have something that can keep up with your growing needs.
  2. Get an Automatic Document Feeder. An ADF will drastically help you reduce the time it takes for you to scan. It will feed your documents without human interaction so you can focus on other important jobs.
  3. Install a metal detector. This will especially help if you have something like an ADF. A metal detector will be able to help you find paper clips and staples that might harm your machine. These can cause big damages if you don’t notice them.

Scanning is just like copying or printing; if you get the right machine then you will get the best results. Come talk with our experienced team at Denver Copier. We understand your needs and will be able to help you find exactly what you need.
