Xerox Phaser 8560MFP — Review

From unboxing this unit to the initial set up I found this unit to be very simple to get going and set up.  One of the nicest parts is there are just the wax blocks to deal with rather than the toner cartridges.  It makes the loading of consumables extremely easy.  For a $2,000 device, the cost per page is aggressive as there are unlimited coverage plans available.  The color is good, but not quite as nice as say a 7335 or a DocuCenter type of device.  There are very few moving parts, which is great as it keeps repair cost down to a minimum.  For companies who do shorter runs and a ton of coverage, this mfp is about perfect.  If you do tons of prints (say 10,000+ per month) this would be a bad choice.

Overall, Xerox has done a great job with the Phaser 8560MFP and if you need cheaper color because you do a lot of volume…  make sure and check out the 8860MFP.
